Sugary, Deep-Fried Goodness

So all the talk about strawberries and Louisiana food made me long for something more, which turned out to be an impromptu beignet fest. Yes, when I got home from work, I made beignets modeled after the Cafe du Monde sugary goodness.

And behold, they were marvelous to look upon and to consume.
