It's Time to Leave the Blogosphere

I've decided that none of you are axe-murderers, posing as well mannered Christian women. A huge relief to each of you, I'm sure. When I first started blogging, I had heard so many horror stories about online dating, and cyber-stalking that I was oh-so-careful about revealing personal details that could be used to hunt me down. I felt sure that if I wasn't careful, I would come home from work someday to find rabbits boiling on the stove.

But as time has passed, and I've gotten to know each of you (and meet a few), I realized that my fears were unfounded. I'm still careful about my last name and where exactly I live, but I'm not nearly so paranoid these days.

At any rate, I have a request of my blogosphere friends. If you feel comfortable doing so, I would love for you to email me your full name and address. As I was sending out Christmas cards last week, I kept thinking how cool it would be to send them out to all of my friends. I sometimes know more about some of you than I do my own family! Wouldn't it be fun to receive a real, for true card in the mail every once in a while?

Anyway, if you don't mind getting a few extra pieces of mail each year, send me your name and address at flourishandblots@gmail.com I look forward to hearing from all of you!

Okay, my friend, do you know how much your title scared the living daylights out of me?! I thought you were throwing in the towel on blogging! Whew! What a relief!

Although I'm not too thrilled to hear you already sent out your Christmas cards....

Hi. I somehow stumbled across your blog and must say that I enjoyed it. I thought you were quitting the blog life which would have been such a dissapointment because you seem to have a great sense of humor from what I have read so far.

My husband feels the same way about me and all of my online friends and my identity as you do. I've met a few of my cyber friends and openly post my identity and the city I live in. I feel safe that no weapon formed against me will prosper. I know they will form but I'm safe from their attacks. You are too, sister. I'm glad that you are not so paranoid anymore. Maybe I should have my hubby read this post. (**smiles**)

Blessings!
Shanita

Whew - I thought you were going to be taking an extended blogging break and-and-and who would want you to do THAT? =)

I would LOVE to have a Christmas card from you! (...shaking my head and sniffling a little...) "You're so good!"
