Can you tell that I am excited?
Gracie was in the bathtub when it started, and I pulled her out and wrapped her in a blanket warmed by the fireplace so she could see it. It didn't take the kids long to change into warm clothes so they could heft snowballs at one another! I know this sort of behaviour sounds ludicrous to those of you who live up north, but this NEVER happens here! See! I'm! Using! Lots! Of! Exclamation! Points!
So, here are a few pictures of the snow that is STILL falling outside.
I think we might get a snow day tomorrow....

Oh my goodness!! Snow in Houston?? I never would have thought.
I've got lots of snow at my house - I'll package some up and mail it to you. :)
I must admit though, I do enjoy a white Christmas. Yesterday morning on the way to work, it looked 'Christmas-card-perfect, the way the snow was clinging to the trees.
I was just thinking about you. I was watching the news and they were talking about snow in Texas. Have fun! We hope to get some tomorrow.
(I put this on the wrong post so here it is again!!)
LOL! Too funny you Texans and your snow. Reminds me of Gladys on the Ellen show when Austin was shut down for a few flakes of snow, as she called it! But boy that was qutet an amount for Texas! I am gald you like your snow! I wish we could simpmly trade off now and then..your sun and warmth for some of our snow and cold! LOL!
