Archive Meme

I saw this Archive Meme on Amy's blog at Memories and Musings of a Mommy, and thought it would be fun to do. I know that when I find a new blog that I want to visit again, I rarely have enough time to go back a read everything from the beginning (although sometimes I do!). I want to get to know that person, but it's hard to commit to reading all of the posts from the last 2 years!

This meme is designed to make some of those old posts readily available to those who may be new to your blog, or even those who are regulars, just not from the start. Anyhoo, here are the rules:

Go back through your archives and post the links to your five favorite blog posts that you’ve written. But there is a catch:

Link 1 must be about family.
Link 2 must be about friends.
Link 3 must be about yourself.
Link 4 must be about something you love.
Link 5 can be anything you choose.

Post your five links and then tag five other people. At least TWO of the people you tag must be newer acquaintances so that you get to know each other better. Readers - don’t forget to read the archive posts and leave comments!

  1. Home A brief history of where I came from and why I love it there.
  2. Good Friends I think the title pretty much sums it up!
  3. I AM--Just in Time This was a post in response to a bible study I participated in.
  4. Forgotten Lives Strange title about something I love, but you'll understand once you read it.
  5. Another Milestone and The Magical Panties Two separate posts about the kids.

So there you have it. Probably more than you wanted to know about the workings of my brain and potty training techniques in our house! In the spirit of playing well with others, it's now time to tag 5 other people. Because I'm all about following the rules, as you can see from my link #5.

As if you didn't have enough to do this week, here's a little something extra for Linda, Andrea, Faraja, Karen, and Leslie. If you are reading this, and weren't tagged, don't feel left out! I would love to see this meme on your blog too!

Well, I should have just commented about everything here instead of filling up your inbox - LOL!

Thanks for doing this! I loved a glimpse of your life, and now I feel like I know you just a bit better. The posts were wonderful. I didn't comment on the Forgotten Lives one, but I so related to that one too.

I'm honored that you tagged me, but I'm scratching my head just a bit how to do this; I only started this in early January, so I only have about 12 posts under my belt. . .

Thanks for being my blog friend!

You are too cute and so sweet! Thanks for letting me off the hook for a bit, but I want you to know it warmed my heart that you tagged me and wanted to know me better! This will definitely motivate me to keep blogging! I'm really enjoying it.

Love ya!

I have a writer's name over at Divine Caroline...my real name is Leslie. Was leery at first of using my real name. They recommended I use a pen name. LOL! Thanks for taking time to read them and comment.

Thanks for the tag. I saw this on another blog and I wanted to do it -- and now I have a good reason to!!

I've been a bit busy lately, so my time in blog-world has been a bit more limited than usual, so I haven't checked out your links yet -- but I will!

ps: oh -- and just to clarify...on my 'miscellaneous monday' post, you weren't tagged...you were given the LOVEABLE BLOG award! You can still do the 'linky love' tag if you want, but I just wanted to make sure you realized that you were given the award!!!
