Photo Hunt: Skinny

This was a hard one, but I kept coming back to this beautiful Venetian glass vase my parents gave me the last time they went to Italy. It sits on my mantle with a collection of cobalt blue glassware, and although it's hard to tell from the picture, it is indeed quite skinny.

I decided to try some of the custom settings on my digital camera, and really liked the way this one came out with the background sort of a butter yellow. I present: skinny!

Photo Hunt: Delicious

I decided to follow Karen's lead and participate in this really cool photography challenge. Here are the rules:

A theme is given for each Saturday. Post a photo that best represents the theme. New and old photos welcome but must be from your personal collection and not photos obtained from the web. Play along once a week by posting your photo on your site.

The theme this week is delicious, and I immediately thought of my sister's wedding back in 2005. She was completely dressed for the photos, and it was about an hour before the wedding and she was suddenly starving. Understandable since she probably hadn't eaten a real meal in days due to stress and nerves. Anyhoo, our big brother went out and obtained a burger for her. This was the photo that was taken of me trying to feed it to her so that she didn't destroy her dress or makeup.
